Skin Laser, Treatment on a day before surgery or after surgery



Procedures such as Ultherapy, Thermage, Aqua Peel, and Shurink can be performed before surgery. However, if you wish to receive these treatments after surgery, it is recommended to wait at least one month post-surgery.


For facial contouring surgery, please note that undergoing Ultherapy or Shurink the day before surgery may cause excessive swelling, so we do not recommend it. 


In the case of facial contouring surgery, Ulthera Thermage Shrink Lifting Laser treatment is possible after 3 months.


In the case of Pico laser, we don’t recommend having the procedure the day before surgery, as it may cause swelling depending on your treatment plan. We suggest either having the Pico laser with enough time before surgery, or waiting until after surgery to assess your recovery and then receive laser treatments like the Pico laser. 


If you are receiving treatment at another clinic and tell them about your surgical plan, they will carefully consider it and proceed with the procedure.


At BT Plastic Surgery, we also offer Rejuran, Skin Botox, Fillers, and Botox treatments. If you choose to have these procedures along with your surgery, they can be performed during the operation, allowing you to receive treatment without any pain.

What do I need to prepare for the Rhinoplasty?

1. Passport 2. Reference photo (For your Ideal nose shape) 3. Gauze and tape : After rhinoplasty, it is placed under the nose.  4. Q tip (Cotton swap) : When applying ointment after Rhinoplasty, it is needed.  5. Pain Killer : Please bring if you any painkiller that works with you that is not narcotic property as the prescribed painkiller is similar degree to Tylenol. Please also note that it is narcotic medications are prohibited to be brought into Korea. Gauze, tape, Q-tips and Tylenol can be easily purchased in Korea, so if you don’t have any, just come.  Tape: 1,000 won Cotton swab: 3,000~5,000 won Gauze: 1,000 won~1,500 won / 5 sheets Tylenol: 3,000~5,000 won You may bring a humidifier if you wish. It's not a requirement.  We will give you the ice pack you need after surgery.
